Net2 is a networked access control system. A networked system gives the advantages of central control, event reporting and flexible control over users' access. Each control unit is part of a network but can run independently making its own decisions and remembering events
The Net2 control unit has FLASH memory which means that firmware can be upgraded from the PC. This is the key to making the system future proof.
With Net2 you control over who gains access to your building - where and when you like.
Why use PC based access control?
Central Control - all doors can be controlled from one place
Reporting - an event is generated every time a token is used to gain access
Flexibility - access can be granted to users according to time and place.
Net2 Access Control Reporting
The events screen allows you to view the "real time" events as they are happening. You can see "who is in today" with a glance at your computer.
You can see if unauthorised access has been attempted, either by forcing a door or using an invalid token (key fob).
Advantages of Net2 Central Access Control
Full control of the system from your desk
Users are added and instantly have the access rights you permit
Individual access rights can be altered. The changes instantly update at the doors.
Explorer style software makes all tasks quick and easy to perform.
Tokens voided - someone leaves without handing back their token, simply bar that user token from the system.
Timesheet & Attendance
Net2 Access Control has a Timesheet which is used for recording simple time and attendance. You can produce reports showing the number of hours worked by each employee, check at a glance who is in or out of the building.
Timesheet information can be exported as a CSV file to use with payroll applications.
Multiple Workstations
Net2 provides the opportunity for more than one PC to be able to view events and control the system.
For example, three departments are able to access the system.
Engineering - The supervisor can issue or void tokens and see who is in or out.
Sales - The sales manager can issue and void tokens and check who is in or out.
Administration - Temporary one day pass keys can be given to visitors. Different levels of access can be granted to staff and departments as needed. Alarms can sound on screen if unauthorised access is attempted.
