The latest update to Paxton’s Net2 Access Control System, version 4.07, is now available.
If you dont currently have security learn more about what Net2 can do for you.
Whether you are a small, medium or large multi-site organization you will have assets that you want to protect from theft. You will want to protect your staff and their property.
It is common for doors to be unlocked during the day, this gives the possibility of an opportunist thief to potentially steal from your workplace.
Access control provides a convenient and efficient way to keep your building and assets secure. You can use key ring tokens, proximity cards, biometric scanning or a combination to centrally control who has access to different areas of your buildings from individuals to whole departments. If a token is lost it can easily be removed from the system and access stopped.
There is also great flexibility with access control systems, for example a low security area could be set to be opened all day. If a door is used for only a particular time of day like lunchtimes it can be easily programmed in the software to allow access for the amount of time you require. With the calendar feature you can set up times when the building has to be more secure or allow certain access on particular dates, like during school holidays if for instance there is an open day, or visitors are coming.
• Net2 access control delivers what you require with an easy to use but powerful interface.
• All Paxton components come with a 5 year guarantee.
• When your requirements grow so can Net2.
• No hidden per seat licences, software can be installed to as many workstations as required
• Free software upgrades. Net2 software upgrades can be downloaded and installed for free

Heaton Primary School have always had one eye on the future and are always looking for new ways to enhance their already impressive IT facilities.
One of the latest additions is the transformation of a section of Ancient Woodland situated within the school grounds. A Sculpture Trail will be developed and ICT used to provide information points about each piece of work.
Systemnet are working closely with the school to install wireless technology within the woodland to enable outdoor learning with equipment such as Laptops and PDA's. It is planned that other schools will be able to use the technology on a visit to the woods and then be able to upload information collected onto their own school network.
At the beginning of May this year Feversham Primary School updated their security system with extra CCTV Cameras installed by local IT company Systemnet.
This came about because the school had had at least six break-ins in as many months, with vital ICT equipment stolen and damage to classrooms which caused children's lessons to be disrupted.
The break-ins were happening in a particular area of the building, so a survey was carried out by Systemnet MD Jonathan Grice who advised on what was required. This survey then went to the Headteacher and Govenors who approved the work.
Within ten days of the system being installed, two intruders were caught on camera and the images were passed to the police, resulting in arrests being made.
Caretaker Mrs Lister adds "I'm very pleased with the professional way that Systemnet works, I will be recommending them to fellow colleagues".
Findel are the company behind many leading education supply catalogues which are routinely sent out every year to both Primary and Secondary Schools throughout the UK.
Following the choice to have Systemnet as the main provider of Interactive Whiteboard Technology for the 2006 editions of their publications they have approached us once again to be the main provider for the 2007 editions.
This is due to the success of this years entry in the catalogues and the cost effective IWB Solutions which we are able to provide backed up by the guarantee of quality products, fitted by our experienced installation teams.
