What is Bye Bye Standby®?

Bye Bye Standby® is a brand new energy saving solution designed to reduce
daily energy consumption of electrical devices. Bye Bye Standby® works by
completely cutting power to the devices plugged into it when they’re not in
use, thus saving the power that devices would otherwise have consumed in
Standby Mode. Bye Bye Standby® is a new way to save energy, carbon emissions
and money.

Individual Socket Control:

 

Make sure your Bye Bye Standby Remote and your Bye Bye Standby Socket are set to the same House Code and Appliance Number.

The House Code refers to the letter (A to H) and the Appliance Number refers to the numeric dial (1 to 8).

For example� set your Bye Bye Standby Remote to �A� and one of your Bye Bye Standby Sockets to A1.

Plug your standby appliance into the Bye Bye Standby Socket. Now plug the Bye Bye Standby Socket into a mains wall socket. Note: if you have a 4-way adapter you can control 4 appliances instead of just one from the same socket.

You can now switch that appliance on and off wirelessly from up to 30m away at the touch of a button (green buttons on the remote switch ON, grey buttons switch OFF).

Page function: when set to Page I your Bye Bye Standby Remote will control appliances which are set to numbers 1-4. If you switch the remote to Page II then you will be able to control appliances set to 5-8.

Multiple Socket Control:

For multiple socket control, use the group� function on the side of the Bye Bye Socket

Assuming all sockets are set to the same House Code as the Bye Bye Standby Remote, you can now switch on/ off all sockets set to �Group� together, using the �Group� function on your Bye Bye Standby Remote.
